Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement

Seat Belt Buckle


NOTE: LHD is shown; RHD is symmetrical.

1.Disconnect the negative battery cable, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.

2.Remove the front seat.

3.Manual height adjustable seat/manual seat:
Remove the center cover, manual seat, manual height adjustable seat.

4.Disconnect or detach the seat belt switch connector (A) and harness clip (B).

NOTE:
  • Manual seat is symmetrical to the manual height adjustable seat.
  • 4-way power seat is symmetrical to the 8-way power seat.

Manual height adjustable seat:

5.Remove the center anchor bolt (A) and detach the harness clip (B), then remove the seat belt buckle (C).

NOTE:
  • Manual seat is symmetrical to the manual height adjustable seat.
  • 4-way power seat is symmetrical to the 8-way power seat.

Manual height adjustable seat:

6.Pull the seat belt switch harness (D) out through the space between the seat cushion and the seat linkage, or the hole on the seat track.

7.Install the buckle in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
