Water Pump Replacement

1.	Remove the drive belt.

2.	Drain the engine coolant.

3.	Remove the crankshaft pulley.

4.	K20A6 engine: Remove the six bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (A). A6 x 1.0 mm 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.7 lbf·ft)

5.	K24A3 engine: Remove the oil cooler joint pipe (A), then remove the seven bolts securing the water pump. Remove the water pump (B). 6 x 1.0 mm 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.7 lbf·ft)AB

6.	Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface with the water passage.

7.	Install the water pump with new O-rings in the reverse order of removal.

8.	Clean up any spilled engine coolant.

9.	Install the crankshaft pulley.

10.	Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
