| 1. | Remove the headliner. |
| 2. | Remove the three mounting bolts from the power tailgate control unit. |
| 3. | Disconnect the connectors (A) from the power tailgate control unit (B). |
| 4. | Remove the lock washer (A) and washer (B) from the tailgate hinge (C). |
| 5. | Remove the four mounting bolts, then remove the power tailgate drive unit (D). |
| 6. | Install in the reverse order of removal. |
