| DTC 71: | Different Diameter Tyre |
| 1. | Clear the DTC. |
| 2. | Test-drive the vehicle. Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 71 indicated? YES - Go to 3. NO - Intermittent failure; confirm that tyre inflation is set to spec. The vehicle is OK at this time.n |
| 3. | Check that all four tyres are the specified size and are inflated to the proper specification. Are all four tyres the correct size and properly inflated? YES - Go to 4. NO - Install the correct tyres or set the tyres to the correct inflation, and retest.n |
| 4. | With the car on level ground, mark each tyre with a small spot of grease. Roll the car until each of the tyres makes two grease spots on the floor. |
| 5. | Measure and record the distance between the two grease spots. Is the distance between the shortest and the longest measurement more than 10 %? YES - Replace the tyre/tyres that is smaller or larger than the others.n |
