| 1. | Pull up the lock (A) of the ABS control unit 25P connector (B), and the connector disconnects itself. |
| 2. | Disconnect the six brake lines. |
| 3. | Remove the three 6 mm bolts. |
| 4. | Remove the ABS modulator-control unit (C). |
| 1. | Install the ABS modulator-control unit, then tighten the three 6 mm bolts. |
| 2. | Reconnect the six brake lines, then tighten the flare nuts to specified torque. |
| 3. | Align the connecting surface of the ABS control unit 25P connector to the ABS control unit. |
| 4. | Push in the lock (A) of the ABS control unit 25P connector (B) until you hear it click into place. |
| 5. | Bleed the brake system, starting with the front wheels. |
| 6. | Start the engine, and check that the ABS indicator goes off. |
| 7. | Test-drive the vehicle, check the ABS operation and check that the ABS indicator does not come on. |
| 8. | If the brake pedal is now spongy, there may be air trapped in the modulator and then induced into the normal brake system during modulation. Bleed the brake system again, starting with the front wheels. |
