| DTC P0967: | Problem in A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve B |
| 1. | Clear the DTC in CLEAR MENU with the Honda PGM Tester or HDS. |
| 2. | Check that DTC P0967 recurs. Is DTC P0967 indicated? YES - Go to 6. NO - Go to 3. |
| 3. | Select P CTRL SOL CONTROL in MISC. TEST MENU, then select P. CONTROL SOL B in P CTRL SOL CTRL MENU with the Honda PGM Tester or HDS. |
| 4. | Drive the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B with 0.2 A in SOL B CONTROL menu. |
| 5. | Check the OBD STATUS in DTCs MENU for a pass/fail test of code P0967. Did the result fail? YES - Go to 6. NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the tester indicates NOT COMPLETE, return to step 3 and recheck.n |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 7. | Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B connector. |
| 8. | Measure A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B resistance at the solenoid connector. Is there 3-10 W? YES - Go to 9. NO - Replace the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B. After replacing the solenoid valve, go to 10, and check that the repair has been completed. |
| 9. | Check for continuity between the No. 2 terminal of the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B connector and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n NO - Repair open in the wire between the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve B and ground (G101), or repair poor ground (G101).n |
| 10. | Clear the DTC in CLEAR MENU with the Honda PGM Tester or HDS. |
| 11. | Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes under the same conditions as those indicated by the freeze data. |
| 12. | Check the OBD STATUS in DTCs MENU for a pass/fail test of code P0967. Did the result pass? YES - The problem has been corrected.n NO - Return to step 1 and recheck.n |
