| 1. | Remove the drive belt. |
| 2. | Drain the engine coolant. |
| 3. | Remove the crankshaft pulley. |
| 4. | K20A6 engine: Remove the six bolts securing the water pump, then remove the water pump (A). |
| 5. | K24A3 engine: Remove the oil cooler joint pipe (A), then remove the seven bolts securing the water pump. Remove the water pump (B). |
| 6. | Inspect and clean the O-ring groove and mating surface with the water passage. |
| 7. | Install the water pump with new O-rings in the reverse order of removal. |
| 8. | Clean up any spilled engine coolant. |
| 9. | Install the crankshaft pulley. |
| 10. | Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open. |
