Heating temperature:

20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

NOTICE:
Do not heat the engine hood and hood bulge excessively.

HINT:
When removing the hood bulge, heat the engine hood and hood bulge using a heat light.



1. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips and support seal.

    NOTICE:
    If clips are damaged during removal, replace them.



2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT COVER TO HOOD SEAL

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 18 clips and hood seal.

    NOTICE:
    If clips are damaged during removal, replace them.



3. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 15 clips and hood insulator.

    NOTICE:
    If clips are damaged during removal, replace them.



4. REMOVE HOOD BULGE

  1. Remove the 8 nuts.

  1. Using a moulding remover, pry out the hood bulge.

  1. Pull off the hood bulge by cutting the adhesive with a knife.

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the engine hood with the knife.



5. REMOVE HOOD AIR INTAKE SEAL

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 18 clips and air intake seal.

    NOTICE:
    If clips are damaged during removal, replace them.
