1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the switch with the 3 screws.

    Torque:
    0.59 to 1.08 N*m{ 6.02 to 11.02 kgf*cm , 5.22 to 9.56 in.*lbf }



2. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

  1. Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel and main shaft.

  1. Install the steering set nut.

    Torque:
    50 N*m{ 510 kgf*cm , 37 ft.*lbf }



3. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL PAD

  1. Support the steering pad with one hand as shown in the illustration.

  1. Connect the airbag connector.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, do not damage the airbag wire harness.

  1. Connect the horn connector.

  1. Install the steering pad after confirming that the circumference grooves of the screws are caught on the screw case.

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, install the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    8.8 N*m{ 90 kgf*cm , 78 in.*lbf }



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.



6. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
  1. Check the SRS warning light (Click here).
