| 1. FIX VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY |

Using SST, fix the vane pump between aluminum plates in a vise, as shown in the illustration.
| 2. REMOVE POWER STEERING SUCTION PORT UNION |
Remove the 2 bolts and suction port union.
Remove the O-ring from the suction port union.
| 3. REMOVE FLOW CONTROL VALVE |

Using a 27 mm socket wrench, remove the pressure port union from the front housing.
Using a screwdriver, remove the O-ring from the pressure port union.
Remove the flow control valve from the front housing.
Remove the compression spring from the front housing.
| 4. REMOVE REAR VANE PUMP HOUSING |

Remove the 4 bolts and housing gear.
Remove the O-ring from the rear housing.
| 5. REMOVE VANE PUMP ROTOR |
Remove the 10 vane plates from the vane pump rotor.
Remove the vane pump rotor.
| 6. REMOVE VANE PUMP CAM RING |
| 7. REMOVE FRONT VANE PUMP SIDE PLATE |

Remove the side plate from the front housing.
Remove the O-ring from the side plate.

Remove the O-ring from the front housing.
| 8. REMOVE VANE PUMP GEAR |

Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring.

Using a press, press the shaft (with gear and bearing) out of the front housing.

Place a 12 mm socket wrench on the shaft.
Using SST and a press, press the shaft out of the gear.
| 9. REMOVE VANE PUMP SHAFT BEARING |

Using SST and a press, press the shaft out of the bearing.

Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring from the shaft.
| 10. REMOVE VANE PUMP HOUSING OIL SEAL |

Using SST, remove the oil seal.
