1. Using SST, fix the vane pump between aluminum plates in a vise, as shown in the illustration.

1. Remove the 2 bolts and suction port union.
   

2. Remove the O-ring from the suction port union.
   

1. Using a 27 mm socket wrench, remove the pressure port union from the front housing.
   

2. Using a screwdriver, remove the O-ring from the pressure port union.
   

3. Remove the flow control valve from the front housing.
   

4. Remove the compression spring from the front housing.
   

1. Remove the 4 bolts and housing gear.
   

2. Remove the O-ring from the rear housing.
   

1. Remove the 10 vane plates from the vane pump rotor.
   

   NOTICE:

   Be careful not to drop the vane plates.

2. Remove the vane pump rotor.
   

1. Remove the side plate from the front housing.
   

2. Remove the O-ring from the side plate.
   

3. Remove the O-ring from the front housing.
   

1. Using a screwdriver, pry out the snap ring.
   

   HINT:

   Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Using a press, press the shaft (with gear and bearing) out of the front housing.
   

3. Place a 12 mm socket wrench on the shaft.
   

4. Using SST and a press, press the shaft out of the gear.

1. Using SST and a press, press the shaft out of the bearing.

2. Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring from the shaft.
   

1. Using SST, remove the oil seal.
