POWER POINT SOCKET > REMOVAL



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.



2. REMOVE SWITCH BASE

  1. Detach the 8 claws.

  1. Disconnect all connectors and remove the switch base.



3. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY

  1. Rotate the socket to disengage the power point socket cover's notch from the socket's hole.

  1. Pull out the socket halfway.

  1. Align the socket with the cover's grooves and remove the socket.
