CIGARETTE LIGHTER > REMOVAL



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.



2. REMOVE SWITCH BASE

  1. Detach the 8 claws.

  1. Disconnect all connectors and remove the switch base.



3. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.



4. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Rotate the cigarette lighter socket to disengage the cigarette lighter bezel stay's notch from the socket hole.

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the bulb terminal.

  1. Pull out the socket halfway.

  1. Align the socket with the stay's grooves and remove the socket.
