1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

    Standard resistance (Light control switch):
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    13 (B1) - 10 (T1)
    		OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    12 (RF) - 11 (ED)
    		OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    13 (B1) - 10 (T1)
    		TAIL
    		Below 1 Ω
    13 (B1) - 10 (T1)
    		HEAD
    		Below 1 Ω
    12 (RF) - 11 (ED)
    		HEAD
    		Below 1 Ω

    Standard resistance (Headlight dimmer switch):
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    11 (ED) - 9 (HU)
    		FLASH
    		Below 1 Ω
    11 (ED) - 8 (HL)
    		FLASH
    		Below 1 Ω
    11 (ED) - 8 (HL)
    		LO BEAM
    		Below 1 Ω
    11 (ED) - 9 (HU)
    		HI BEAM
    		Below 1 Ω
    11 (ED) - 8 (HL)
    		HI BEAM
    		Below 1 Ω

    Standard resistance (Turn signal switch):
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    7 (E) - 6 (TR)
    		Right turn
    		Below 1 Ω
    7 (E) - 5 (TL)
    		Neutral
    		10 kΩ or higher
    7 (E) - 6 (TR)
    		Neutral
    		10 kΩ or higher
    7 (E) - 5 (TL)
    		Left turn
    		Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the dimmer switch assembly.



2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RHD)
