1. Measure the resistance between the terminals.
   

   Standard resistance:

   Condition	Specified Condition
   Approx. 20°C (68°F)	2.21 to 2.69 kΩ
   Approx. 80°C (176°F)	0.287 to 0.349 kΩ

   NOTICE:

   When checking the fuel temperature sensor in the water, keep the terminals dry. After the check, wipe the sensor dry.

   If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
