1. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER

  1. Install the lock retainer and turn it counterclockwise as shown in the illustration.



2. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the cable and turn it clockwise as shown in the illustration.



  1. Install the cable to the clamps as shown in the illustration.

  1. Install the grommet to the vehicle body.

  1. Install the open lever.



3. INSTALL REAR WHEEL HOUSE LH LINER


4. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION LH (w/ Rear Wheel Opening Extension)

  1. Attach the 11 clips to install the extension.



  1. Install the 7 screws.

5. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY FRONT (for RHD)


6. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Extra Cab)

  1. Attach the claws and install the trim pocket to the trim board.

  1. Attach the 7 clips and 6 claws to install the trim board.



7. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH

8. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH (for Double Cab)

  1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 claws to install the garnish.



9. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER LH (for Extra Cab)

  1. Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the ELR of the seat belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf } for bolt A

    Torque:
    4.8 N*m{ 49 kgf*cm , 42 in.*lbf } for bolt B

  1. Install the bolt and close the cover as shown in the illustration.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

Do not disassemble the retractor.

  1. w/o Pretensioner single cab and extra cab:
    Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the ELR of the seat belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

    Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the ELR of the seat belt with the bolt as shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    4.8 N*m{ 49 kgf*cm , 42 in.*lbf }

    Install the bolt and seat belt.

    Torque:
    4.8 N*m{ 49 kgf*cm , 42 in.*lbf } for bolt A

    Torque:

    Connect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

    Install the anchor with the bolt.

  1. Close the cover.

    Install the anchor with the bolt.

  1. Install the cap.

    Install the quarter trim panel lower. Then install the seat belt floor anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

    Install the quarter inside trim board. Then install the seat belt floor anchor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

    Install the anchor of the seat belt with the built-in bolt after installing the center pillar garnish lower.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }



11. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Double Cab)

  1. Attach the 2 clips and 7 claws to install the scuff plate.



12. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)

  1. Attach the 2 clips to install the trim board.

  1. Install the cap nut.

16. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  1. Install the console box with the 2 clips, 4 screws <F> and 2 bolts <E>.



17. INSTALL BACK PANEL GARNISH LOWER (for Extra Cab)

  1. Attach the 5 clips and 6 claws to install the garnish.



18. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Extra Cab)

  1. Attach the seat cushion's 2 rear hooks to the vehicle body.

  1. Attach the seat cushion's front hook to the rear seat cushion lock hook. Then install the seat cushion.

  1. Confirm that the seat cushion is firmly installed.

23. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
