THERMOSTAT > REMOVAL

HINT:
If the thermostat was not installed, cooling efficiency would be harmed. Even if the engine tends to overheat, do not remove the thermostat.



1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
  1. Remove the 4 bolts and under cover.



2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
  1. Remove the radiator cap.



  1. Loosen the 2 cylinder block drain cock plugs and radiator drain plug, and then the coolant.

    HINT:
    Collect the coolant in a container and dispose of it according to the regulations in your area.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and the V-bank cover.



4. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET


5. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING WITH THERMOSTAT

  1. Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet with thermostat and gasket.
