NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and clip excessively.

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  3. When removing the clip, heat the clip and vehicle body using a heat light.

    Heating temperature:
    Item
    		Temperature
    Clip
    		40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Vehicle Body
    		20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)



1. REMOVE ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING LH

  1. Put protective tape around the edges of the moulding.

  1. Using a moulding remover, remove the moulding's front and rear end from the vehicle body.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not remove the clips from the vehicle body.

    2. If the clips are damaged or removed accidentally, perform the following step.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING CLIP

HINT:
Perform this step only when replacing the clips.

  1. Using a heat light, heat the clip.

    NOTICE:
    Do not heat the clip excessively.

  1. Pull off the clip by cutting the double-sided tape with a knife.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the the vehicle body.
    2. The clip cannot be reused.
