1. INSPECT AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    A110278E01

  1. Measure the resistance of the air switching valve.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    1 - 2
    		4.5 to 5.5 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
    1 - Body ground
    2 - Body ground
    		1 MΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, replace the sir switching valve assembly.

  1. Check operation of the air switching valve.

    1. Check that air does not flow from port A to port B.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the air switching valve assembly.



      2. A110279E01

    2. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 2.

    3. Check that air flows from port A to port B.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the air switching valve assembly.
