1. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

  1. Measure the resistance between the terminals.

    Standard resistance:
    Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Approx. 20°C (68°F)
    		2.32 to 2.59 Ω
    Approx. 80°C (176°F)
    		0.310 to 0.326 kΩ

    1. If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.

    NOTICE:
    When checking the ECT sensor in the water, keep the terminals dry. After the check, wipe the sensor dry.
