1. INSTALL ECM


A098868

  1. Install the ECM with the bolt and 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 128 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }

  1. Connect the 4 connectors.



2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

  1. Install the TCM with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 128 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }

  1. Connect the 3 connectors.



3. REMOVE TURBO MOTOR DRIVER

  1. Install the turbo motor driver with the bolt.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 128 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.



4. INSTALL 4WD CONTROL ECU (for 4WD)

  1. Install the 4WD control ECU with the bolt.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 128 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }

  1. Connect the connector.



5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Attach the 2 hinges to install the door.

  1. Push in the sides of the glove compartment door, as indicated by the arrows in the illustration. Then close the door to engage it to the 2 stoppers.



6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


7. READ REGISTERED DATA


8. START ENGINE

NOTICE:
After replacing the ECM, the new ECM needs initialization (see page )



9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
