1. CHECK GLOW PLUG

  1. Remove the screw grommet.

  1. Measure the resistance of the glow plug.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    Glow plug terminal - Body ground
    		Approx. 0.95 Ω at 20°C (68°F)

    1. If the result is not as specified, replace the glow plug.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the glow plug pipes, as this may cause an open circuit or shorten the life of the glow plugs.
    2. Do not allow oil or gasoline to contact the glow plug when cleaning.
    3. Clean any oil on the terminal and bakelite washer with a dry cloth.
    4. Do not apply more than 11 V to the glow plug, as this may cause an open circuit.
