1. INSTALL TAIL GATE STAY ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the stay with the 2 screws.



2. INSTALL TAIL GATE STAY ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



3. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  1. Attach the center stop light with the 4 claws.

  1. Connect the connector.



4. INSTALL TAIL GATE LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the lock with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 128 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }



5. INSTALL TAIL GATE LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



6. INSTALL TAIL GATE HANDLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the 2 screws indicated by the white arrow marks. Then install the handle.

  1. Connect the 2 control rods as indicated by the black arrow marks in the illustration.



7. INSTALL TAIL GATE SERVICE HOLE COVER

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, install the 10 screws and cover.



8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
