HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  3. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Click here).



1. INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

  1. Attach the 32 clips to install the weatherstrip.

  1. Install the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration.



2. INSTALL REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the door check to the door panel with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf } for bolt A

    HINT:
    Install the door check so that the rivet head is facing up.

  1. Apply adhesive to the bolt.

    Adhesive:
    Part No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent

  1. Install the door check to the body panel with the bolt.

    Torque:
    30 N*m{ 306 kgf*cm , 22 ft.*lbf } for bolt C



3. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD REAR

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the pad.



4. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD FRONT

  1. Attach the 2 claws and remove the pad.



5. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, install the frame with the screw.

    Torque:
    4.0 N*m{ 91 kgf*cm , 35 in.*lbf }



6. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the outside handle pad front and rear.

  1. Install the handle by pushing it in the direction of the arrows in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    If the bellcrank lever is not pulled and held when installing the handle, the bellcrank lever will interfere with the handle and become damaged.



7. INSTALL REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER LH

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, install the cover (with the door lock key cylinder installed) with the screw.

    Torque:
    4.0 N*m{ 41 kgf*cm , 35 in.*lbf }



8. INSTALL REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install a new door lock wire harness packing.

    NOTICE:
    1. When reinstalling the door lock, always use new packing.
    2. Do not allow grease or dirt to contaminate the gap between the door panel and packing.
    3. Old or damaged packing cannot effectively protect against water, which can damage the door lock.

  1. Apply adhesive to the threads of the 3 screws.

    Adhesive:
    Part No. 08833-00070, THREE BOND 1324 or equivalent

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, install the door lock with the 3 screws.

    Torque:
    5.0 N*m{ 51 kgf*cm , 44 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the door lock connector.



9. INSTALL POWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Using a T25 "torx" driver, install the motor with the 3 screws.

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm , 48 in.*lbf }



10. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the regulator with the 4 bolts.

  1. Connect the connector.



11. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the glass.

  1. Install the glass run.



12. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR LOWER

  1. Install the bar with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm , 71 in.*lbf }



13. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  1. Install a new service hole cover.

    HINT:
    1. When installing the service hole cover, pull out the links and connectors through the service hole cover.
    2. There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.
    3. After attaching the service hole cover, check the sealing quality.

  1. Install the 2 grommets.

  1. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.



14. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Connect the 2 cables to the inside handle.

  1. Move the inside handle in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the inside handle.



15. INSTALL REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Put protective tape on the upper part of the door.

  1. Attach the claws to install the moulding.

    HINT:
    Confirm that the moulding is firmly installed.



16. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the speaker to the door.

  1. Using an air riveter or hand riveter, install the speaker with 3 new rivets.

    NOTICE:

    1. B079664E06
      Riveter Do not pry the rivet with the riveter, as this will cause damage to the riveter and mandrel.

    2. B079665E07
      Confirm that the rivets are seated properly against the speaker.
      Do not tilt the riveter when installing the rivet to the speaker.
      Do not leave any space between the rivet head and speaker.

    3. B079666E10
      Do not leave any space between the speaker and door. Firmly hold together the 2 items while installing the rivet.

  1. Connect the connector.



17. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Attach the 5 claws to install the weatherstrip inner.

  1. Attach the 9 clips to install the trim board.

  1. Install the screw labeled B and clip labeled C.



18. INSTALL REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER LH

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the window regulator switch.

  1. Connect the switch connector.

  1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 claws to install the base panel together with the switch.



19. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE

  1. Install the screw and pull handle.



20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


21. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here ).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
