IGNITION SWITCH > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the switch to the steering column bracket upper with the 2 claws.



2. CONNECT CONNECTOR

  1. Connect the 9 connectors as shown in the illustration.

  1. Secure the wire harness with the clamps.



3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER LOWER

  1. Install the cover lower with the 3 screws.

    HINT:
    Turn the steering wheel to the right and left as necessary to install the 3 screws and cover lower.



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    NOTICE:
    Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
