1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

  1. Measure the resistance of the blower switch.

    Standard resistance:
    Switch Condition
    		Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    OFF
    		1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 6
    		10 kΩ or higher
    LO
    		5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    LO - M1
    		2 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    M1
    		2 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    M1 - M2
    		1 - 2 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    M2
    		1 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    M2 - HI
    		1 - 4 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω
    HI
    		4 - 5 - 6
    		Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the A/C control.

  1. Inspect illuminations.

    1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 8 and negative (-) lead to terminal 3. Check that the bulbs illuminate.
      If a bulb does not illuminate, replace it.
