COMPRESSOR AND PULLEY (for 2KD-FTV) > REMOVAL |
| 1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM |
Start up the engine.
A/C switch is ON.
Operate the cooler compressor with an engine speed of approximately 1,000 rpm for 5 to 6 minutes to circulate the refrigerant and collect the compressor oil remaining in each component into the cooler compressor.
Stop the engine.
Using SST, discharge the refrigerant gas.

| 3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY |

Remove the clamp and disconnect the IAT connector.
Loosen the clamp of the turbocharger.
Slide the clamp and disconnect the ventilation hose.
Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner.
| 4. REMOVE DRIVE BELT |
Using the pulley set bolt of the tensioner, rotate the tensioner pulley clockwise to loosen the belt's tension. Then remove the V belt.
| 5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY |

Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose from the compressor.
Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.
| 6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE |

Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the compressor.
Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.
| 7. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY |

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the 4 bolts and compressor.
