REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY > REMOVAL

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  3. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (Click here).



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Extra Cab)

  1. Pull the seat cushion lock hook's release lever in the direction of the arrow, and then disconnect the hook on the front of the seat cushion.

  1. Detach the seat cushion's 2 rear hooks from the vehicle body.

  1. Remove the seat cushion.



3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (for Extra Cab)

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



4. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Extra Cab)

  1. Remove the bolt and anchor.

  1. Remove the bolt and rear No. 1 seat belt anchor.

  1. Remove quarter inside trim board (Click here).



5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws labeled A.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Pull the hinge cover in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the claw labeled B. Then remove the hinge cover.



6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Double Cab)

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the trim panel.



7. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM LH (for Double Cab)


8. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH (for Double Cab)

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips and remove the trim panel.



9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER LH

  1. Remove the bolt and floor anchor.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the seat belt anchor cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the bolt.
