MANUAL LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM
  1. Dimmer switch control function:

    1. When the headlight dimmer switch is set to the TAIL position, the headlights (clearance light), rear combination light (taillight) and license plate light illuminate.

    2. With the vehicle as stated (1) above, turn the headlight dimmer switch to the HEAD position. Check that the headlights (lo beam) illuminate.*

      HINT:
      *:When the headlights (lo beam) illuminates, the headlights (clearance light) turns off.

    3. When the front fog light switch is turned ON, check that the combination meter (front fog indicator light) and fog lights illuminate.

    4. When the headlight dimmer switch is set to the HI BEAM position, check that the hi beam indicator light and headlights (hi beam) illuminate.

    5. When the ignition switch is ON and the headlight dimmer switch is to set to the HI BEAM FLASH position, check that the headlights (hi beam) illuminate. When the dimmer switch is released, check that the headlights (hi beam) turns off.

    6. When the ignition switch is ON and the headlight dimmer switch is set to either TURN position, check that the combination meter (turn indicator lights) and turn signal lights are flashing.

    7. When the hazard warning switch is ON, check that the combination meter (turn indicator lights) and turn signal lights are flashing.

  2. Stop switch control function:

    1. With the ignition switch turned ON, check that the center stop light and rear combination light (stop light ) turn on when the brake pedal is depressed.

  3. Back-up & PNP switch control function:

    1. With the ignition switch turned ON, check that the rear combination light (back-up light) turns on when the shift lever is moved to R.
