CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER > INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

  1. Install a new gasket and the clutch master cylinder.

  1. Install the clutch pedal.
    For LHD (Click here)
    For RHD (Click here)



2. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE TUBE

  1. Using SST, connect the flexible tube.

    SST
    09023-00101  

    Torque:
    15 N*m{ 153 kgf*cm , 11 ft.*lbf } for use without SST
    14 N*m{ 143 kgf*cm , 10 ft.*lbf } for use with SST

    HINT:
    Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 30 cm (11.81 in.).



3. CONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR HOSE

  1. Connect the clutch reservoir hose with the clip to the clutch master cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    Connect the clutch reservoir hose so that it will not be twisted.



4. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
There are 2 types of combination meters. One type has a 40 pin connector and 16 pin connector. The other type only has a 40 pin connector.

  1. Connect all connectors.

  1. Install the combination meter with the 3 screws <B>.



5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the panel.

  1. Install the clip.



6. BLEED AIR FROM CLUTCH PIPE LINE

  1. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with fluid.

    Torque:
    11 N*m{ 112 kgf*cm , 8 ft.*lbf }

  1. Bleed air from the clutch system (Click here).



7. CHECK FOR CLUTCH FLUID LEAKAGE

  1. Check for clutch fluid leakage (Click here).



8. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  1. Inspect and adjust clutch pedal assembly
    For LHD (Click here)
    For RHD (Click here)



9. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

  1. Check fluid level in reservoir (Click here).
