FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING (for 4WD) > REMOVAL

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  1. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  1. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.



1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the nut and disconnect the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.

    HINT:
    If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud in place.



3. DISCONNECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



4. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET
Remove the stabilizer bracket front (Click here).


5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
Remove the stabilizer bar front (Click here).


6. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING

  1. Remove the nut and bolt.

    HINT:
    While fixing the nut in place, loosen and remove the bolt.

  1. Remove the 3 nuts and shock absorber with coil spring.
