FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE > REMOVAL

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.



1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.



3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE (2WD)

  1. Remove the brake tube from the flexible hose with SST while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

    SST

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.

  1. Remove the clip labeled A and bolt labeled B.

  1. Remove the union bolt labeled C, flexible hose and gasket.



4. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE (4WD)

  1. Remove the brake tube and wheel cylinder tube from the flexible hose with SST while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not bend or damage the brake tube and wheel cylinder tube.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube and wheel cylinder tube from the connecting points.

  1. Remove the 2 clips and flexible hose.



5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL CYLINDER TUBE (4WD)

  1. Using SST, remove the wheel cylinder tube from the brake cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not bend or damage the wheel cylinder tube.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the wheel cylinder tube from the connecting points.
