BRAKE BOOSTER > REMOVAL

1. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.



2. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the brake master cylinder (Click here).



3. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the vacuum warning switch connector and remove the vacuum warning switch from the booster.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.

  1. Remove the check valve and grommet from the booster.

  1. Remove the return spring, clip and clevis pin.

  1. Loosen the push rod clevis lock nut.

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and push rod clevis.

  1. Pull out the booster and gasket.
