1. Check the deceleration sensor. If any of the following occurs, replace the sensor with a new one.
   

   1. The surface of the sensor is cracked, dented, or chipped off.
      
   2. The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.
      
   3. The sensor has been dropped.
