HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.



1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


2. REMOVE BRAKE DRUM


3. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB BOLT

  1. Temporarily install the 2 nuts to the hub bolts as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using SST and a brass bar or equivalent to hold the axle shaft, and remove the hub bolt.

4. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB BOLT

  1. Install a plate washer and nut to a new hub bolt, as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using a brass bar or equivalent to hold the axle shaft, and install the hub bolt by torquing the nut.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts from the hub bolts.



5. INSTALL BRAKE DRUM


6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque:
152 N*m{ 1,550 kgf*cm , 112 ft.*lbf } for 2WD (steel type)
121 N*m{ 1,234 kgf*cm , 89 ft.*lbf } for 2WD (aluminum type)
105 N*m{ 1,071 kgf*cm , 77 ft.*lbf } for 4WD
