CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seatback spring and seat cushion frame may injure your hands.

HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the RH side.



1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER RH

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cushion shield inner.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.



2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

  1. Remove the screw and release handle.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the cushion shield inner RH.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and seatback.



5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

  1. Remove the 5 hog rings.

  1. Open the fastening tapes. Then open the lower part of the seatback cover.

  1. Roll up the seatback cover.

  1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.

  1. Remove the seatback cover (with pad) from the seatback spring.

  1. Remove the 2 hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.



6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. w/ Occupant detection sensor:
    Detach the sensor clamp.

  1. Remove the 18 hog rings and seat cushion cover (with pad) from the seat cushion frame.

  1. Remove the 6 hog rings and cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
