HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.



1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (OUTER SIDE)


2. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER LH

  1. w/ Vertical adjuster:
    Using a T40 "torx" socket, install the adjuster arm with the 2 "torx" bolts.

    Torque:
    25 N*m{ 255 kgf*cm , 18 ft.*lbf }

  1. w/o Vertical adjuster:
    Install the adjuster arm with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    19.5 N*m{ 199 kgf*cm , 14 ft.*lbf }



3. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.



4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ROD (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Install the adjuster rod with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    19.5 N*m{ 199 kgf*cm , 14 ft.*lbf }



5. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

  1. Attach the springs to install the handle in the order indicated in the illustration.



6. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Install the adjusting shaft to the reclining adjuster arm with the 2 E-rings.

  1. Temporarily install the vertical seat adjuster knob.

  1. Turn the knob as much as possible in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  1. Install the gear of the adjusting shaft. Then, align the holes of the adjusting shaft and adjusting arm by turning the knob in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

  1. Remove the vertical seat adjuster knob.

  1. Install the seat spring as shown in the illustration.

  1. Using pliers, push together the tabs that hold the spring.

  1. Install the front seat adjuster pin.



7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Install the cushion frame with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    19.5 N*m{ 199 kgf*cm , 14 ft.*lbf }



8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

NOTICE:
  1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
  2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with 6 new hog rings.

  1. Install the 2 cushion edge protectors (front side) to the seat cushion frame.

  1. Install the seat cushion cover (with pad) to the seat cushion frame.

    1. Using hog ring pliers, attach 7 new hog rings.

    2. Attach the hooks to the hook area in the illustration.

    3. Attach the 2 hooks.

  1. w/ Occupant detection sensor:
    Attach the sensor clamp.



9. INSTALL SEATBACK SPRING


10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER

NOTICE:
  1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
  2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with 4 new hog rings.

  1. Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seatback spring.

  1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

  1. Using hog ring pliers, install 7 new hog rings.



11. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the seatback with the 4 bolts.

    Torque:
    40 N*m{ 408 kgf*cm , 30 ft.*lbf }



12. INSTALL SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE BRACKET LH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

  1. Install the bracket with the E-ring.



13. INSTALL SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE BRACKET RH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

  1. Install the bracket with the E-ring.



14. INSTALL NO. 1 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)


15. INSTALL NO. 1 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)


16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH

  1. Install the cushion shield in the order indicated in the illustration.

  1. Install the cushion shield with the 2 screws.



17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Attach the rear part of the cushion shield in the order indicated in the illustration to attach the claw and install the cushion shield.

  1. Install the cushion shield with the 2 screws.
