KNOCK SENSOR > REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.



2. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the engine assembly (Click here).



3. REMOVE CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the cylinder head (Click here).



4. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

  1. Remove the bolt and sensor.
