Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester ON.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Read DTCs.

| 2.CHECK THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY (VISUALLY CHECK THROTTLE VALVE) |
Visually check for foreign objects between the throttle valve and housing. Also, check that the valve can open and close smoothly.

| 3.CHECK IF DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P2111, P2112) |
Clear the DTCs (Click here).
Start the engine, and fully depress and release the accelerator pedal quickly to fully open and fully close the throttle valve.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester ON.
Enter the following menus: Powertarin / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Read DTCs.
