If this code is set, there is an open circuit (B1084) or short circuit (B1085) in the wiring harness between the rear window defogger relay and the A/C-ECU.

- Malfunction of the rear window defogger relay
- Damaged wiring harness or connectors
- Malfunction of the semi automatic air conditioner control panel (A/C-ECU)

Replace the rear window defogger relay.

(1)Remove the relay, and measure at the junction block side. (2)Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
