Inspection Procedure 16: No Sound. (CD only)


DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Check again using a normal CD, which is not dirty or scratched.


Q. When you substitute another normal CD, is the CD played normally?

The original CD is defective.

Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check power supply to the radio with CD player when the ignition switch is at "ACC" or "ON" position.


Q. Is the radio with CD player assembly energized when the ignition switch is turned to the "ACC" or "ON position?

Replace the radio with CD player.

Check the memory backup power supply circuit. Refer to Inspection Procedure 1 <Vehicle without Auto Stop & Go (AS&G) System> or <Vehicle with Auto Stop & Go (AS&G) System>.
