FRONT SEAT
The front seat offers the following advantages.
- The seats are designed to be adjustable in the reclining and sliding directions.
- Headrestraints with height adjustment have been installed.
- Seat height adjustment function has been introduced to the driver’s seat <some models>.
Since this function raises and lowers the seat cushion together with the seatback, the driver’s
waist position in relation to the seatback is always kept constant. This enhances riding comfort
and achieves optimum driving position. Pump type seat height adjustment lever has been adopted
for convenient use.
- The easy entry system has been adopted to improve accessibility and convenience. <COLT CZ3/CZT>
- A storage box has been fitted in the rail cover.
- The rear-end collision protection seat structure (backward layout of seatback frame
and optimisation of headrestraint position) has been adopted to improve safety during rear-end collision
at lower vehicle speed. The cross frame has been installed below the seat cushion to reduce
the forward travel distance of the passenger’s during frontal collision and has improved
safety.
EASY ENTRY SYSTEM <COLT CZ3/CZT>
The easy entry system has been adopted for the front seats. This system has the following
features.
- The easy access lever has been adopted to improve the accessibility to the
rear seat. With one touch operation of the lever, the seatback folds forward, and the seat is
slid forward.
- After the seat is slid forward with the easy access lever, when slid back to the
original position, it is designed to be locked at the first position to improve convenience.<Option>
