Hood
A clearance between the hood and engine is provided, and the deformation load of the hood
is optimised, reducing a risk of injury to a pedestrian’s head area in case of an accident.
Hood hinge
A clearance between the hood hinge arm and body is provided. Then, by turning the hood
hinge arm during a pedestrian’s head impact in the hood hinge area, a risk of injury
to the pedestrian’s head area is reduced in case of an accident.
HOOD LATCH COVER
The hood latch cover is added to the hood latch upper part to prevent the hood latch from
freezing by snow accumulation <Optional>.
