Check the system as described below. If the system does not work, carry out troubleshooting. Refer to  .

- Operate the transmitter to check that the doors and tailgate can be locked and unlocked.
- Operate the transmitter to check that the answerback function works in response to door and tailgate locking/unlocking.

The adjustment function allows you to change the number of the hazard lamp answerback between 0 and 7 times. As an initial setting, the hazard lamps flash once when locked and twice when unlocked, and the room lamp extinguish* when locked and illuminates for 15 seconds when unlocked. Prior to that check, confirm which setting is activated.

*: If doors are locked with the transmitter when the room lamp is ON while doors are opened, the room lamp is switched off in 1.2 seconds. In addition, if doors are locked with the transmitter when the room lamp is OFF, the room lamp does not work.
