Post-installation Operation

Tailgate Outside Handle Play Check (Refer to ).

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

<<A>> TAILGATE LATCH ASSEMBLY REMOVEL <RH DRIVE VEHICLES>

Because of a malfunction, if the tailgate cannot be opened while the tailgate latch assembly is locked, open the tailgate and remove the tailgate latch assembly as follows.

1.Move the lever to the arrow direction as shown and unlock it.

2.Push the tailgate open while moving the lever to the arrow direction as shown.
3.Remove the tailgate latch assembly.

Assemble so the distance between the centre of the striker and centre of the latch is ±1.5mm or less.
