- If the striker is not engaged with the latch properly, install an temporary bolts instead
of the striker mounting bolt, and use the special tool remover bar (MB990939) and a hammer to tap
the bolt to the desired direction.
- If the clearance between the tailgate and the body is uneven, loosen the tailgate-side
tailgate hinge mounting bolts to adjust it.
