Code No.C1621:
Abnormality in G and yaw rate sensor
| caution |
- If there is
any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior to this diagnosis,
diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnosis Table
).
- Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
TCL/ASC-ECU automatically recognises the G and yaw rate sensor type via the CAN
bus lines. If another type of G and yaw rate sensor is installed after automatic recognition,
this code is stored.
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the G and yaw rate sensor determines that it has a trouble, it sends the diagnostic
signal to TCL/ASC-ECU. When TCL/ASC-ECU receives this diagnostic signal, it determines
that a malfunction has occurred and sets the diagnosis code.
- Another type G and yaw rate sensor installation
- Malfunction of TCL/ASC-ECU
