Code No.C1387:
Lateral G-sensor function decrease
| caution |
- If there is
any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior to this diagnosis,
diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnosis Table
).
- Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
The G and yaw rate sensor output signal is sent to TCL/ASC-ECU via the CAN bus
lines.
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
If the G and yaw rate sensor determines that its incorporated lateral G-sensor has a trouble,
it sends the diagnostic signal to the TCL/ASC-ECU. When TCL/ASC-ECU receives this
diagnostic signal, it determines that the sensor has a trouble and sets the diagnosis code.
- Malfunction of the G and yaw rate sensor
- Malfunction of TCL/ASC-ECU
STEP 1. M.U.T.-III CAN bus diagnostics
