Code No. C1371:
Yaw rate sensor signal malfunction
| caution |
- If there is
any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior to this diagnosis,
diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnosis Table
).
- Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.
The G and yaw rate sensor output signal is sent to TCL/ASC-ECU via the CAN bus
lines.
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
TCL/ASC-ECU compares the wheel speed sensor and steering wheel sensor output
signals with the G and yaw rate sensor output signals. If it determines that the G and yaw rate sensor
(yaw rate) output signal is not proper, it judges that a malfunction has occurred and sets the
diagnosis code.
- Malfunction of the G and yaw rate sensor
- G and yaw rate sensor improper installation
- Malfunction of TCL/ASC-ECU
| note |
This diagnosis code may be set in the case of driving under special conditions such as
rough roads.
