REMOVING TYREWELD FROM TYRES

Before the tyre for which the flat tyre repair kit was used is repaired or replaced, the flat tyre emergency repair agent (hereinafter referred to as the repair agent) remaining inside the tyre must be drained as follows:
note Draining the repair agent requires a container in which the repair agent is collected (an empty bottle for repair agent) and a hose.

caution
  • Ensure to work in a well-ventilated area with, for example, a local ventilation equipment.
  • Wear appropriate protection gears to prevent the repair agent from contacting a skin, mucous membrane, and clothing, and from entering eyes.
  • After the work is finished, wash hands and face well.
1.Remove the applicable wheel from the vehicle, and release air from the tyre.

2.Cut out the rubber section of the valve using a cutter knife.
3.Connect the hose to the empty bottle of the repair agent.

4.Set the tyre against the rack and insert the hose into the valve opening with one end connected to the empty bottle of the repair agent and the other end submerged in the fluid.

5.Place the bottle as low as possible from the tyre, and compress it by hand to suck out the repair agent. Repeat the operation 2 to 3 times to suck out the repair agent as much as possible.
6.After the repair agent has been drained, separate the tyre from the wheel and wipe off the remaining repair agent. When the hole of the flat tyre can be identified, the flat tyre can be repaired ordinarily. Otherwise, replace the tyre with a new one.
