REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION



caution
  • Do not disassemble the rear wheel hub assembly.
  • The magnetic encoder collects any metallic particle easily, because it is magnetized. Make sure that the magnetic encoder should not collect any metallic particle. Check that there is not any trouble inside of bearing prior to reassembling it.
  • When the rear wheel speed sensor is removed, close the hole on sensor cap by tape or something to avoid entrance of dirt or metallic particle in the bearing.

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS



<<A>> BRAKE DRUM REMOVAL



If the brake drum is seized, install M8 × 1.25 bolts as shown, and remove the drum by tightening the bolts evenly and gradually.
note When removing the brake drum, M6 bolt for drum can be disposed.

<<B>> CALIPER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL


1.Remove the caliper assembly with brake hose.
2.Secure the removed caliper assembly with a wire or other similar material at a position where it will not interfere with the removal and installation of the rear wheel hub assembly.
